SIVIGLIA – La Roma strappa un pari in quel di Siviglia ma per quanto visto in campo, i giallorossi hanno di che recriminare viste le occasioni non sfruttate. Nonostante le assenze, è la squadra di Mourinho a fare la partita ma nemmeno la presenza in campo delle 2 punte Abraham-Belotti, di gol nella prima frazione non se ne vedono. È anzi il Betis a passare con un tiro di Canales, deviato nella propria porta da Ibanez. Nella ripresa dentro Camara per Matic (problema muscolare per lui) e proprio il nuovo entrato, si rende protagonista dell’assist che permette al gallo Belotti di segnare il gol del pari. Da qui in poi la Roma gestisce bene il match e va vicino al gol vittoria in un paio di occasioni. Ma la mira degli attaccanti giallorossi di questi tempi è tutta da rivedere e il risultato non cambierà più. Questo pareggio tiene in corsa i giallorossi in ottica qualificazione che comunque non sarà facile.
